Fee-based Classes

Registration for fee-based classes is ongoing.  In an effort to continue serving adults, we are now offering fee-based classes that rely on student funding.  Register for fee-based classes in person at the Education Center.

• Fee-based classes are open to high school students and adults.

• Students must meet minimum age and other prerequisite requirements.

• *Fee-based classes are not funded through public funds.  Students pay one fee per class.  Fee waivers are not available.  Textbook costs are additional.  Classes do not run when enrollment is too low.  Fees can only be refunded up to two calendar days (48 hours) before a class starts.  This procedure allows ROP time to notify all students if the class is not running.

• Fee-based classes must have a minimum of 25 students to operate.

• The course fee pays for tuition: there are additional fees for books and supplies.  Fees vary per type of class.

• All adult and high school students are required to pay course fee and additional costs (books, uniforms, supplies).  No fee waivers are issued.

Fee-based Courses

Open to high school students and adults.

Two payment options are available:
1) Students may pay the full fee (that includes a $50 nonrefundable deposit). OR
2) Students may pay a $50 nonrefundable deposit (administrative fee to hold a seat) applied toward the total cost of the class.

Fees must be paid in full at least 48 business hours prior to the start of the class, by cash, credit card, or money order.

No personal checks are accepted.

All registration takes place at the Education Center.

Enrollment in fee-based courses is on a first-come, first- served basis.

Refunds

To receive a refund, notification of withdrawal from a fee- based class must be made in writing and delivered in person, or received by certified mail, at least 48 business hours prior to the date and time the class starts. There are no other refunds unless a class is cancelled or overenrolled.
